The point was reinforced by Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Sergey Naryshkin, when he addressed the International Russian Press Congress. “We have got more money in the budget to spend on supporting the development of the Russian language and the Russian cultural space. So we will do everything we can to show the importance of the Russian language and Russian culture, so it can be fully appreciated,” Mr Naryshkin said.
