Russia has joined other European countries and the US in condemning the conference on Holocaust in Tehran where delegates questioned whether Nazi Germany killed 6 MLN Jews during World War II and the existence of the state of Israel.
67 delegates from 30 countries took part in the 2-day debate initiated by Iran's President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.Iran said it had organised the conference to allow researchers from countries such as Germany and France, where it is a crime to question the Holocaust, to speak freely.Some experts said the conference was a response to Western policy on Iran.
