Russia calls for compromise ahead of six-party talks

Russia has urged compromise ahead of next week's six-party talks on ending North Korea's nuclear programme. The position was highlighted at a working session in Beijing by the Head of the Russian delegation.

Multi-lateral discussions are taking place over 3 days to search for compromise solutions and find a unified approach towards ensuring security on the Korean Peninsula.The talks will end on Saturday ahead of a new round of six-party talks which will commence on Monday.
