During the Indonesian President’s first official visit to Russia, Moscow and Jakarta have signed a joint statement, calling for the renewal of the six-party talks on North Korea's nuclear programme.
Russian and Indonesian leaders expressed their concern over the recent nuclear test, carried out by Pyongyang and called on North Korea to observe the international non-proliferation pact.The Russian and Indonesian Presidents also signed a number of agreements on trade and energy co-operation, including 10 documents covering energy production and security, the oil and gas sector, the peaceful use of space and space technologies, and military and technical co-operation.Commenting on the outcome of the talks President Putin said the aim is for trade turnover between the two countries to reach $US1 BLN.
