According to the agency the exchange took place in Igoety settlement, just 40 kilometres from the Georgian capital, Tbilisi. The Georgian prisoners consisted of 13 servicemen and two civilians. The exchange was due to take place on Monday but did not take place because Georgia put forward additional political demands which Russia refused to meet.
