Moscow's Red Square hosted the presentation of the 2014 Sochi Olympics logo to the public. During unusually warm weather for the start of winter, thousands attended the ice spectacle.
Eurovision Stars Dima Bilan and Aleksandr Rybak performed for the occasion. The presentation also included an incredible light show that lit up the night Moscow sky.
The organizers of Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics presented the official logo of the games on Tuesday. The aim of the logo was to highlight understanding between cultures, and the involvement of future generations.
It's also the first that incorporates an internet domain within it.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev became the proud owner of the first t-shirt emblazoned with the new logo for the Sochi Olympics.
