Police are hunting a man suspected of setting cars alight in Moscow. Sixteen cars have been torched in the capital since May 29, and police believe a mentally unstable man is responsible for them all.

Two teenagers were detained in the south of the city on suspicion of the fires, but were later released after another car blaze in the north of the capital on Sunday.  In the latest wave of burnings, six cars were set alight in Moscow over the weekend. On Sunday night a Ford Focus, a BMW and a van were burnt out. Six more cars were completely destroyed in a similar way on May 30 and one more partially burnt. No one has been injured.
