Polish Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski has signed a special instruction on the installation of the U.S. anti-missile defence system in Poland. The instruction will allow negotiations to begin as early as next week.
The U.S. is also intending to discuss the plan of basing American troops in Poland at the meeting. Meanwhile, Russia's Chief-of-Staff, General Yury Baluevsky, has reiterated Russia’s opposition to the U.S. plan over anti-missile defence system deployment in Europe.He has dismissed the U.S. assertions that the interceptors are needed as defence against possible attacks from Iran. He said Iran was decades away from producing missiles that would be able to target Europe.
