The hearing of the case of former Georgian Defence Minister Irakly Okruashvili has been adjourned. The Paris Court postponed the ex-minister's extradition to Tbilisi until April 16.

Okruashvili faces charges in Georgia including bribery and abuse of office but still hopes to run as a parliamentary election candidate later this year. He was taken into custody last September after he accused the country's President Mikhail Saakashvili of violating human rights.
