Russian paratroopers are marking the 80th anniversary of the creation of their unit. About 5,000 “blue berets”, as Russia’s paratroopers are known, are gathering in Moscow to celebrate.

Paratroopers remain loyal to their tradition and at this very moment are jumping into fountains of Gorky Park, screaming “Glory to Air Landing Troops!”

According to the head of the Moscow Special Forces, Vyacheslav Haustov, more than 1,500 policemen will help maintain law and order in the city.
