Ukraine's parliament has failed to hold a further vote on Yulia Timoshenko's nomination for the post of Prime Minister. Attempts to hold a vote were blocked by the opposition Party of Regions led by current Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich.

Party members also prevented the speaker from taking his seat. They're demanding the Orange coalition to apologize for its accusations that the Party of Regions falsified Tuesday's vote, when Timoshenko was short of one vote to become the new Prime Minister. Analysts say, The Party of Regions wants Yanukovich to retain the post and secure the maximum cabinet seats.
