A new round of six-party talks on North Korea’s controversial nuclear programme has begun in Beijing. Envoys from the two Koreas, China, Japan, Russia and the U.S. are discussing when and how Pyongyang will dismantle all its nuclear facilities.

North Korea tested a nuclear device last year, but then agreed to halt its nuclear programme in return for aid. The Russian Ambassador at Large, Vladimir Rakhmanin, shared with RT his views on the forthcoming talks.
