According to the paper, investigators claim local residents in Maly Vishery, that’s where the train derailed on August the 13, gave a lift to a man from the Caucasus, who claimed he was looking for a place to settle with his family. They said this was about a week before the bombing. The man was seen again on the day of the crash. Meanwhile, police in the Russian Novgorod region says it has detained two suspects in the bombing of the Moscow to St. Petersburg train, according to the Ria Novosti News Agency.
