Russia's Vesti TV channel has launched a new 24-hour radio station. Vesti FM went on air at 6 am on Tuesday. The channel says it aims to present first-hand information from around the world with special attention on business issues.

The channel’s editor-in-chief says it’s more than just a news station. Its presenters will host discussions between guests and colleagues. At the moment it’s only available in Moscow, but Vesti FM plans to broadcast across Russia via satellite in the near future.
