Moscow starts building Europe's tallest skyscraper

In Moscow, the foundation stone has been laid of what is expected to be Europe's tallest building. The city's mayor, Yury Luzhkov, took part in the ceremony.

The skyscraper was designed by the architect Sir Norman Foster and will be more than six hundred metres tall. The building which has been named “Russia” is situated in Moscow's International Business Centre. The Mayor says its architecture will be unique.
