Almost 30 per cent of the population in Estonia are ethnic Russians, and they are welcoming the “Days of Russian Language” promotions, which are now in full swing.  New Russian text-books, written in a more entertaining manner, are being presented at a book fair by professors from Moscow State University. They say it is important to make the learning process more fun and more available to the younger generation. This event is part of a federal programme backed by Moscow aimed at promoting the Russian language across the Baltic region.
