A zoo in the Southern Russian city of Nalchik is experiencing something of a baby boom.

A leopard by the name of Desdemona has given birth to a litter of three. Zoo workers are feeding the cubs as the mother abandoned them. Their diet consists mainly of goat's milk that has the same fat level as the leopard’s. The sex of the cubs – who are a few days old – has not yet been determined. Zookeepers think they may be female – and if so – plan to call them Faith, Hope and Charity – which are popular names in Russia.
