Legionnaires' disease has killed three people and more than a hundred have been hospitalised in Russia's Sverdlovsk region. Officials say samples tested confirmed that the virus was the cause.

The region's Health Minister says the disease, which is a type of pneumonia, may have been contracted through food, drink or running water.
