Le Bourget air show awaits 500,000 visitors

Companies from all over the world are showing off their latest products at the Le Bourget air show outside Paris. About 140 aircrafts are performing flying displays at the event, which will run until June 24.

The Russians say their exhibition's the biggest with 60 different Russian defence producers attending. Several lucrative contracts have been signed and more are expected. Russia's one of more than 40 countries attending Le Bourget. This is the oldest and biggest air show in the world with about 2,000 contractors and 140 aircraft on display fighter jets, helicopters and the mega passenger planes of the 21st century. This year's 47th edition of the Paris air show is expected to attract about 500,000 visitors.
