Anna Kournikova’s mother has been arrested in the US on charges of child neglect after her five-year old son jumped out of a second-story window at their Florida home.
Alla Kournikova allegedly left five-year-old Allan at home alone. Upon her return 50 minutes later, the mother denied police accusations of child neglect, saying her son had refused to accompany her on her errands. Kournikova insists she locked the residence and left her son with a phone.
However, according to police documents provided by tmz.com, “Kournikova failed to provide the necessary supervision to maintain the child’s physical wellbeing.”
The boy said that he jumped out of the window of his own will rather than falling. Allan suffered injuries to his feet and lower back, and has been taken to hospital.
