Three people, including a three-year-old child, have been killed in an apparent militant attack in the southern part of the Chechen Republic. The bodies were found in a burnt-out car 200 metres away from the village of Tsa-Vedeno.
According to local police, the two men and a child were on their way to visit relatives who live in the area. Around ten gunmen also reportedly attacked the residents of the village, setting fire to three houses. Police are looking for a group headed by a 17-year-old local man who is already on the wanted list for several murders.
