The renowned Jewish sense of humour is being showcased in Israel’s first museum of cartoon and political satire.

Among the drawings on display are cartoons criticising the Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s actions over the last year. Works also poke fun at the talks between the Israeli and Palestinian leaders in Annapolis. The museum in the central city of Holon was established to allow Israeli cartoonists to present their works, some of which date back to the founding of the Jewish State.
