Iran to continue nuclear activities

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammed Ali Hosseini has stated that Iran didn’t intend to halt its nuclear program. According to him, a suspension of uranium enrichment has no logical and legal grounds and is unacceptable to Iran. 

In addressing the Iranian parliament, Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, repeated that UN sanctions wouldn’t affect Iranian nuclear policy even if more were introduced.The UN Security Council imposed sanctions against Iran in late December for refusing to abandon its nuclear activitiesThe West fears they’re aimed at making nuclear weapons. Meanwhile, Iran insists its nuclear program is for producing electricity.
