Iran ready to reveal past nuclear activities

Iran is pledging to provide answers about its past nuclear activities to the UN’s watchdog agency. Anonymous officials say the offer was made on Thursday by Iran’s top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani to EU Foreign Policy Chief in Madrid.

The offer falls short of meeting the demands of the international community for the country to freeze its uranium enrichment work. The Islamic Republic refuses to consider halting its work but it is the first time Tehran has made such an offer without preconditions.
