Indonesia to disinfect flood-stricken capital

Authorities in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta plan to disinfect the flood-hit city to prevent the spread of disease. Temporary clinics have been opened across Jakarta. Almost 60 people died in last week's floods.

Overnight rains caused rivers to burst their banks again in some areas of Jakarta, much of which still remains under water.The number of people left homeless by the disaster now stands at almost 400 000.
