Investigations into Tuesday's train bombing in India have intensified. Police detained hundreds for questioning. Indian officials named the Pakistan-based militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba as prime suspect for the Mumbai attacks.

The group denies responsibility. Hospitals across the country continue to treat victims and a memorial service has been held at one of the sites of the explosions. In New Delhi, demonstrators protested against the attack, carrying banners and shouting anti-Pakistan slogans. Nearly 200 died and hundreds more were injured in the series of blasts.
