Russian giant Nikolay Valuev has announced that his next opponent in the boxing ring will be none other than four-time world heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield.
Holyfield is widely regarded as one of the sport's greats but at 46 his most notable achievements were well over a decade ago. However, with the WBA crown up for grabs the American shouldn’t have much trouble summoning the strength for one last big push. Should he win, it would make Holyfield the oldest heavyweight champion in history. He'll enter the December 20 bout in Zurich as a massive underdog, with Valuev's record of 49 wins and one loss an eyecatching record. The 2.13 metre St. Petersburg native will also hold a huge 100-pound weight advantage.
