Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's bid for the presidency has taken yet another hit. Her chief political strategist, Mark Penn, has resigned after he lobbied for a free trade agreement with Colombia, which Clinton opposes.

Penn attended a meeting with the Colombian ambassador in a separate role as chief executive of a public relations firm. Clinton is vying with Senator Barack Obama to become the Democratic presidential candidate.
