The Palestinian group Hamas say a truce is no longer an option following 11 Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza strip on Saturday. Earlier, the militants suggested they would halt rocket attacks, if the Jewish State ends its air campaign.

At least five Hamas members have been killed and four others wounded in the latest attack against a compound used by the movement's Executive Force in Gaza city, adding to more than 40 people left dead over the ten-days Israeli retaliation. Before dawn on Saturday, aircraft struck near the house of Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh in a Gaza refugee camp. Hamas says the second Cabinet minister arrested by Israeli troops is the Minister of State.
