A manhunt is under way after unidentified attackers opened fire on a police station in the Russian Republic of Ingushetia in the south of the country. The attack happened in the town of Nazran, the scene of recent violence in the region.
Police sources in the republic say the attackers exchanged fire with the police before escaping. There has been no information on casualties. Police blocked streets in Nazran to try and find the gunmen.
