Gorky Park blaze under control

Firefighters in central Moscow spent almost an hour tackling a huge fire at an amusement park in Gorky Park. The blaze, which started in a warehouse, sent thick black smoke into the sky during evening rushour on Monday. There were no reports of injuries

Sergey Lyapin from the city Emergencies Department said ten fire engines took part in the operation. “The fire broke out at 1900 in a warehouse. It spread over 200 square metres.  50 minutes later it was under control. There have been no reports of any injuries,” Sergey Lyapin said.
