The Georgian opposition have put a tough ultimatum to the country's president, Mikhail Saakashvili. They're demanding a recount of the disputed presidential vote and fair access to state television. If not, they threaten to launch fresh street protests.
“Of course we will come out into the street in front of parliament. We are fighting and we will continue our fight,” Levan Gachechiladze, one of opposition leaders, stated. They opposition claim they are carrying out the people's will. Demands include a full recount of votes from the recent presidential election, which the opposition say was rigged. The opposition also want increased representation in the electoral administration and the resignation of the Interior Minister.
