A powerful explosion has rocked a natural gas distribution center in Southwest Russia on Friday. Local emergencies officials have reported massive damage but no casualties.

“At first the height of the flames was 100 meters high, but now the pressure in the pipe has reduced and the flames are 10 meters high at the moment,” a representative of Russia’s Emergencies Ministry told Interfax news agency.

The explosion occurred at 13:40 Moscow Time.
