Russia’s Federal Security Service, or FSB, has named the Russian citizen who claims he was recruited by the British Secret Intelligence Service, MI6.

Vyacheslav Zharko – a former Russian law enforcement officer – contacted the FSB in early June with the allegations. He told his recruitment story on Russia's NTV channel on Friday. Mr Zharko described in detail when he was recruited and named his alleged British supervisors. He also said that exiled Russian businessman, Boris Berezovsky, and the former Russian security officer, Aleksandr Litvinenko, were directly involved in the process.  Litvinenko was poisoned in London last year.
