Forgery labs cracked in Moscow

Six people have been detained by the Russian Federal Security Service and Moscow police on suspicion of illegally transporting people to countries in Western Europe. According to the FSB, the multinational group of criminals produced fake documents.

Police have uncovered three clandestine laboratories packed with all the necessary equipment, stamps and chemical agents for making passports and visas. The police say 200 Russian domestic and international passports were found during the search – some of them appearing to be fakes. During the search equipment for making fake banking cards was also found. A criminal case has been opened into the forgery.
