Explosion in Baghdad claims 16

Sixteen people have been killed and at least 45 wounded in a bomb attack in Baghdad. A suicide bomber exploded a lorry in Iskan, a poor mixed neighbourhood with a large Shia population.

The attack occurred in a car park between the College of Economic Science and a large food warehouse. The College educates Iraqis of all backgrounds, with some Christians alongside Shia and Sunni students.The explosion completely destroyed one house and heavily damaged others.This comes after a series of major bombings at two Baghdad markets on Monday that killed more than 80 people.
