Authorities of the Baltic state of Estonia have refused citizenship to the widow and son of leading Chechen militant Djokhar Dudayev, killed by Russian forces in 1996.
The Estonian government denied Alla Dudayeva citizenship, with the Prime Minister saying her husband had not done enough in service of the country.Dudayev's widow, who is now living in neighbouring in Lithuania, applied to Estonia because her husband served on the country's territory while Estonia was part of the former USSR.Later he became a militant and was killed by Russian forces in 1996.
