The Emergencies Ministry is continuing to evacuate Russian and former CIS nationals from Gaza. A third jet has been sent to rescue people fleeing the troubled region.

The latest aircraft has 62 people onboard, including 17 Russians and 45 Ukrainians, and is expected to touch down in Moscow on Friday morning.

Most of the evacuees are the wives and children of Palestinians.
