The Nasa space shuttle Endeavour is just about to start docking with the International space station.

The crew's mission is to upgrade the station and conduct three spacewalks. New equipment will make it possible to receive power direct from the orbital station for the first time. It will allow shuttle crews to remain in orbit longer. Earlier on the mission there were some minor problems. But a day-long inspection showed that the orbiter suffered no damage – that was after foam insulation broke off the fuel tank during liftoff.
