A team of Russian scientists have embarked on a monitoring mission in the Baltic Sea. They are concerned that thousands of tonnes of chemical weapons, dumped in the ocean by the Allies at the end of the Second World War, could be a pollution time bomb.
The scientists are trying to establish how serious the situation is and whether some of the toxins are damaging the environment.
