72 dead in Mozambique blast

In Mozambique, the death toll from an explosion at a military depot has risen to 72. It's believed the explosion in the city of Maputo may have been triggered by high temperatures.

Hundreds of people were hurt in the blast. Private vehicles helped ambulances take the injured to hospital.Maputo's airport is near to the site of the explosion, and remains closed after the incident.President Armando Guebuza called off a visit to South Africa on Friday because of the tragedy.
