A building under repair has collapsed in central Moscow, killing 2 construction workers and seriously injuring another. According to initial reports, 5 people were trapped when the 3-storey structure caved in.
Rescuers arrived at the scene and discovered two dead bodies while clearing through the rubble. Another worker who was stuck under a massive concrete plate was found in the basement. Rescuers are still searching for the remaining two workers.Occupants of the building had been evicted before the repairs started.The surrounding area has been cordoned off by police and an investigation into the causes of the collapse is underway.
