Democratic hopeful Senator Hillary Clinton has claimed victory in the West Virginia Primary. With some votes still to be counted, she is said to have won 65 per cent to rival Barack Obama’s 28 per cent.

She's expected to add at least 15 delegates to her tally but will still lag behind Obama in the race for the Democratic nomination. Obama is looking beyond Tuesday's primary towards the presidential election in November. He's announced that he will begin campaigning in the important swing states of Michigan, Florida and Missouri next week.
