Chechnya’s capital escapes a series of attacks

Russia's security services say they have prevented a series of terrorist attacks against civilians in the capital of the Chechen republic. Around 10 kilograms of explosives were discovered in arms caches in and around Grozny.

Officials say, these munitions were going to be used in attacks in the city.They are believed to have belonged to a high-profile militant leader who was killed in an operation earlier this month.
