New York governor Eliot Spitzer is facing growing pressure to resign after he was linked to a high-class prostitution ring. He could also face charges of using state funds to pay for his activities. And more allegations came from a 22-year all woman claim

She claims Spitzer had been her customer two years ago. ABCnews.go.com quotes her saying that he was “a nice guy who tipped well and didn't do anything that wasn't clean”. Earlier the report said New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, a prominent Democrat, was caught on a Federal wiretap, arranging to meet with a prostitute. The married father of three said he has already apologized to his family and the public, saying he failed to live up to the standards he set for himself. “I really haven't seen the details on this so I don't know what's going on,” noted Barack Obama. Spitzer is a supporter of Hillary Clinton and a so-called “super delegate”. The former first lady, who knows all too well what Spitzer and his family are going through, was much more sympathetic. “Obviously I am sending my best wishes and thoughts to the governor and to his family,” she said.   Spitzer is now facing a difficult decision – resign or face a potential impeachment, but experts claim the scandal will not significantly impact the presidential race or Hillary's chances of beating Obama in Pennsylvania.   Meantime, Barack Obama has beaten Hillary Clinton in Mississippi’s presidential primary. That extends Obama's lead over his rival, six weeks ahead of the crucial Pennsylvania vote.  However, none of the two candidates is likely to get along without additional support of so-called “super delegates”.
