Clashes have broken out between Iranian police and armed bandits following a bomb explosion in the south eastern city of Zahedan, near the site where an explosion this week killed 11 members of the Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards.

A Sunni militant group claimed responsibility for the attack.Iran said it was linked to Osama Bin Laden's Al-Qaeda network. Tehran has blamed the group for previous killings in the area which borders Pakistan.
