Nine servicemen have been killed and six more injured in an explosion in Chechnya.
The incident took place in the republic's Shali region on Tuesday at 5:15 pm Moscow time. According to Russia's Defence Ministry the blast happened as ammunition was being moved from one vehicle to another. A special commission has been sent to the site to investigate what appears to be an accident.
