Blair talks Middle East peace in Moscow

He'll also meet Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for talks on how to push the Israeli-Palestinian peace process forward and how to provide financial aid to the Palestinian territories. Blair was named Middle East Envoy a year ago, and works on behalf of the Middle East quartet, which includes Russia, the United States, the United Nations and the European Union. Russia approved his appointment after initial reservations over his close relationship with the U.S.
