When WWII broke out, René Billottet joined the Resistance movement taking part in sabotage operations against the Nazis and spreading anti-Fascist propaganda. He went on to work as an aircraft mechanic and took part in bombing raids. He was wounded twice. He lost his friends during the Normandy landing operations. Could you please send René a message?
