A shootout broke out on a major boulevard in the east of the French capital, Paris, on Thursday. One person was reportedly wounded in the incident.
Several shots were exchanged on the Boulevard de la Bastille, with one person receiving a gunshot wound, emergencies services said.
The police managed to detain one of the attackers, but two others reportedly managed to escape in the Bastille district.
It’s yet to be established what caused the shootout, but one possible reason may be a quarrel amongst a group of armed men, BFMV-TB reported.
According to the broadcaster, the gunfight took place outside a Chez Papa restaurant.
